There are lots of ways that you can save money when visiting Lytham St Annes. Here are just a few handy hints to help you try to get the more out of your stay -:

Blackpool Attractions – Planning on visiting Blackpool’s world famous attractions? If you are hoping to visit Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, Madame Tussauds, Blackpool Zoo, Tower Dungeons, Blackpool Model Village and/or Sea Life then the following tips may help you save money-:

  • Collect coupons from cereal packets. These are always available and will usually get an adult in free with each paying child.
  • Use your Tesco vouchers – if you time it right and use them when they are double value then you get twice the saving.
  • Book online in advance. Most places offer a discount for pre-bookings made online – since Covid this can now be 7 days in advance. Some of the attractions also offer you a quicker entrance if you have pre-booked so you can save time and money!!
  • What about a Big 6 Ticket?? If you are here for around a week and you plan on doing all the big attractions then the Big 6 Ticket may be worth thinking about.

Travelling around Lytham St Annes and Blackpool. Blackpool is the busiest seaside resort in Britain with over 10 million visitors in 2015 and driving and parking can sometimes prove both stressful and expensive. Thankfully the local public transport system is excellent and easily accessible from The Fairmile. Blackpool Transport offer a range of saver tickets that allow passengers access to the bus and tram network for 1 day, 3 days or 7 days. Tickets are available for adults at £6 for 1 day, £15 for 3 days or £17 for 7 days and for Families for £13 a day. The buses run every 10-12 minutes and the trams are every 20 minutes so guests can travel from Lytham St Annes to Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood using that one ticket. This option will make your stay much simpler, less stressful and cheaper. You can now access this ticket on your smartphone – download the “Blackpool Transport” App and you can buy your ticket on the App. The App has a countdown clock showing you how long your ticket is valid for and it also has live information on buses so you can see where the nearest bus stop is and how long the next bus will be!

Eating Out – Lytham St Annes is a simply fabulous place to eat out with numerous restaurants and cafes offering a wide range of cuisines for all tastes and budgets. In each of our guest bedrooms is a handy “Where to Eat” guide that we have written to try and help our guests to make the right choice for them.  (We are always looking to help our guests and make recommendations for them so if you are a local restaurant and you would like us to help pass on details of special offers or discounts etc then please get in touch and we will be happy to help).

We hope that the information above is useful and we hope that is helps you plan your trip better so that you save some money. If anyone has any other advice that you think we could have included or if there are any local businesses who can offer our guests any discounts or special offers then please do get in touch. We are very passionate about the place that we live in and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do. Helping guests save money is just one of the ways we hope we can help our guests to make the most out of their visit to the Fylde coast.
